Bioneers Conference - October 14-16

The Wilkinson Public Library is proud to announce that we will be one of only two institutions in the entire state of Colorado broadcasting the Bioneers Conference for 2011.  The Bioneers Conference is a leading-edge forum presenting breakthrough solutions for people and planet. This year, we are also teaming with the University Centers of the San Miguel to offer an accredited course that will examine the process of putting Bioneers into Action.  Taught by Robyn Wilson, this course is free to everyone, with accreditation costing $80.  The objective of this course states:  "Through two pre-conference classes, students will create a base of understanding for this year’s Bioneers Conference that will be broadcast live in Telluride, and then put your new knowledge into action with a post conference project designed by the class. Beaming Bioneers broadcasts practical environmental solutions and innovative social strategies to restore Earth’s imperiled ecosystems and heal our human community.
