Telluride Film Festival Cinematheque

On Tuesday, January 3rd, the Telluride Film Festival will host a reception at 5:30 and screening at 6:00 of La Dolce Vita. An Italian phrase that means "the sweet life," La Dolce Vita is also a 1960 comedy-drama film written and directed by one of Italian Cinema's most acclaimed directors...Federico Fellini. The film is a story of a passive journalist's week in Rome, and his search for both happiness and love. A film that marks the transition between Fellini's neo-realist films and his later art films, it is widely considered one of the great achievements in world cinema.
