Solving the Mars Problem with Dr. Kevin Walsh - Friday, March 30 at 6PM

Kevin J. Walsh is a member of the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder Colorado. He holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Maryland, and this spring will be teaching Astro3300 "Extraterrestrial Life" at the University of Colorado. As an undergraduate he majored in Astronomy and Computing at Notre Dame.

Dr. Walsh’s research spans diverse areas from asteroid formation to the moons and rings of Saturn to the ‘Mars problem. He is a member of the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder Colorado, and holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Maryland. This spring will be teaching Astro3300 "Extraterrestrial Life" at the University of Colorado.

His talk on Friday at 6:00 will discuss how planets move in our solar system and explore some of the more unknown aspects of planets in our solar system.
