Every month Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and Art Goodtimes host a series called Talking Gourds. On Tuesday May 1st at 5:30 p.m. come by and hear an interview with featured poet Rose Griffin, and then stay for an open mic.  Anyone and everyone can come by and participate in the open mic that is open to any creative expression.
As poet for this month's Talking Gourds, Rose Griffin will bring a combination of music and poetry to the evening's session.  A prolific musician who has been recording since 1995, Griffin has recorded throughout in the region.  In 2006 she recorded "Cowboys and Angels", at L.A. Miles Productions in Telluride, Colorado.  "Love each other back home" is her newest song, a single, which was recorded in Grand Junction.  Come by and hear more from Rose Griffin as she entertains and speaks for the Talking Gourds.
