Small Business Power Hour with Jill Burchmore

“Whether you are running or not, it is important to know what direction you want to go and how to get there in the most efficient manner.”  This is the main idea that Burchmore wants attendees to receive when they come to the power hour on Thursday.  As she explains:

Have you ever noticed how some people seem to be successful, happy, relaxed and living their life purpose; yet others seem to be stuck in a rut, going through life unhappy, in a job they don’t like, unfulfilled, in a tailspin and not sure where to go next?  Are you doing what you love?  Do you want to work for yourself?  Why are some people successful while others seem to struggle? How do people take the leap to start their own business?  Does your small business need a jump start?

Whether you are a struggling small business owner, a contractor looking for business support, or an aspiring entrepreneur, these programs will cover the basic idea behind small business development.  For those who want a more thorough experience, these programs will feature many of the topics that are offered in a traditional class setting with the University Centers of the San Miguel.   Those planning on attending the power hour are encouraged to bring a brown-bag lunch for the presentation.  If you are a member of the Friends of the Library, there will be discounts at many local food establishments for this program.  Contact Nancy Landau at nancylandau@hotmail.com for a membership form or visit www.telluridelibrary.org/fol to register today.  If you have any suggestions for topics you want covered in this hour, please contact Jan Newell at jnewell@telluridelibrary.org.
