Cowboy Poet and Troubadour Kerry Grombacher

Kerry Grombacher plays guitar, writes poetry, and performs contemporary and western folk songs that tell vivid stories.  With over forty years’ experience, his music explores the genres of polka, cajun, mambo, and blues-rumba written in the obscure “chiastic” form.  Able to sing in Spanish or English, his words are often compared to that of a photograph that captures your imagination and leaves you longing for more.

Recently, Grombacher ventured into the literary arena as he has read from several published novelists including short stories and non-fiction.  His knowledge of the west even led him to be filmed by Wilkinson Public Library’s own Scott Doser in the 1990s.  Living in Wyoming, Scott and Kerry explored the themes of a modern day cowboy on a PBS special for Wyoming Public Television.

Kerry will be playing at the Market on the Plaza at 3:00 p.m. in Mountain Village on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m and then follow it up with a free concert at the library on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
