Have you ever wondered why music is important to you? Music is part of our world and society in ways that we are not always able to identify. This event will explore some of the ways which music is influential to our human experience, as well as look at the historical and cultural importance of music. Join Colin Hotz for a free lecture, sponsored by the University Centers
of the San Miguel, that will explore some of the ways in which music is
influential to our human experience on Tuesday July 24th at 6PM in the
program room at the Wilkinson Public Library.
Colin has been playing music for 20 years and has earned both a Bachelor Degree in Music from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and Masters Degree in Music from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music located in New York City. Soon after graduate school, Colin was able to teach at Creighton University and the College of Saint Mary located in Omaha, NE. Colin also writes, records, and performs music wherever he can, including Australia, Europe, and the United States.
